It's almost time to leave their little hunting cabin and go back to the town, much as Athelstan and Ragnar might wish they could stay... but Athelstan's dog is nowhere to be seen.

Athelstan stands in the doorway, looking and calling for him, and finally he reappears, carrying something in his mouth.

"Fiachra? What have you got there?"

He crouches for a better look, frowning as it strikes him that doesn't look like a deer bone...

"No, you don't", Athelstan agrees softly. "But now it's your turn."

"There is no hurry," Ragnar says, "but do tell me how and where you want me."

"I just want you", Athelstan tells him. "And having you, the details matter little to me."

Ragnar lies back in the bracken, with that grin of his.

"Here, have me!" he declares. "I'm all yours. Take whatever you want."

Sprawled as he is, it becomes very obvious that pleasuring Athelstan has pleased Ragnar very, very much as well. He is ready for whatever Athelstan wants now.

Athelstan rolls over until he's half on top of Ragnar, kisses him soundly, and begins working on his belt.

"I like the beginning already," Ragnar says, grinning up at Athelstan.

"Good", Athelstan says with a grin in return. "Because I'm not going to rush over it."

Ragnar watches him with that grin, like a cat that has smelled fish.

Yes, yes they are.

The belt untied, he begins tugging Ragnar's shirt up towards his head.

Ragnar arches his back and lifts his arms to help him.

The shirt slips free and is dropped to one side, then Athelstan stretches out again to pay proper attention to Ragnar's upper body.

Ragnar gives a pleased moan, like a large cat purring, and smiles at Athelstan.

Athelstan laughs against his skin.

"You're like a lion."

[bigarmy_strangepants]

"Roar!" Ragnar says, lazily. "I've just eaten a Christian!"

[athelstanthescribe]

"...you're terrible."

But he's still laughing.

[bigarmy_strangepants]

"Lions are!" Ragnar says, laughing as well.

Beat.

"Christians taste very nice. Well, at least the one I've eaten."

[athelstanthescribe]

"I'm glad to hear it. I wouldn't want you not to enjoy it."

[bigarmy_strangepants]

"I'll do it again," Ragnar says, "at some point, when the Christian can stand up again."

[athelstanthescribe]

"The Christian wants something else first", Athelstan murmurs, pressing kisses to Ragnar's chest and moving lower.

"Oh yes?" Ragnar says, sounding hopeful.

[athelstanthescribe]

"To return the favour", he says with another kiss. "And then you can have me. Unless you'd rather that now."

[bigarmy_strangepants]

"Oh, I'll do whatever you want me to or do to me," Ragnar says. "Nothing's keeping you from sitting down on me, if you feel like it."

[athelstanthescribe]

"Well, if you say so..." He straddles Ragnar, tugging at his trousers.

[bigarmy_strangepants]

"Whatever you want, Athelstan," Ragnar says, lifting his hips to make the trousers easier to strip off.

His prick springs free, very ready and eager.

[athelstanthescribe]

He wavers, not sure if he wants to touch with hands or mouth, or be taken.

Finally he moves off a little, lying on the bracken again.

"Come to me."
